The first "walk in the park" was held Saturday, August 26 at Walsingham Park in Largo, FL. It was an easy walk, though in August in Florida, no outdoor aerobic exercise is easy. Deanna Turnage, Diana Steele and Peggy Newton had a great time. Everyone we passed at the park oohed and ahhhed over all of our well groomed pets, and the dogs, as usual, loved the attention. After the walk, the sammies had homemade frosty paws and bisquits, and we humans had a cookout.
